Her mom had been abandoned on an acreage and while there, gave birth to a litter. There was another young breeding female on the property who also delivered a litter. Both females cared for the kittens together and as such, it was had to tell who Pumpkin\u2019s mother was or who her actual siblings were.<\/p>\n<p>From the information we were given, we estimated Pumpkin and her brother were about four months old. Pumpkin is so sweet with her symmetrical facial markings and little orange muzzle surrounded in white.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>She is very affectionate and loves attention. Her constant purr is confirmation! We often find her contentedly napping in a warm sunny window, but never far away from the volunteers and any attention they offer in passing.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Pumpkin is quick to instigate a game of chase or tag, or lacking a companion to play with, she can amuse herself \u2013 and you \u2013 effortlessly and endlessly. She loves to be held and cuddled and snuggles into your lap on a moment\u2019s notice.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Pumpkin was surrendered with her mom and brother on October 7, 2019.
