The litter of kittens was headed for disaster as the cold weather approached.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Kalvin was very frightened and the experience of being trapped didn\u2019t help his anxiety any. As the next few weeks went by, four more of his siblings arrived at the SPCA, but this didn\u2019t seem to relieve any of his stress or shyness either.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Due to his quiet and shy demeanor, Kalvin has been passed by for adoption. Although he is more social, talkative and affectionate now, he still has an inherent anxiety about people. It takes Kalvin a long time to get to know you but when he does, his true sweet personality shines through.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Kalvin will do best in a quiet home with no other pets.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>This will allow him to get to know his new family with no distractions and realize that \u201cliving\u201d needn\u2019t be terrifying \u2013 that he is safe and respected. He has a squeaky little meow and the most comforting purr.
